Controller I – Casper, Wyoming
This position is responsible for the operation of pipelines and various pumping stations remotely from the Pipeline Control Center via SCADA. Monitors flows, pressures temperatures, and tank levels for pipeline pump stations; diagnoses potential problems, responding to abnormal conditions and any alarm conditions that may exist. Remotely start and stop pumps and control valves to maintain system demand and pressure. Diagnosing potential problems, responding to abnormal conditions, and any alarm conditions that may exist. Requires the ability to interface successfully with schedulers regarding pumping orders and field personnel as needed to execute those orders and mitigate any abnormal or alarm conditions as necessary. Minimum requirements are English language fluency, and High school diploma or equivalent. Must be willing to work a twelve (12) hour rotating shift and requires working nights, weekends, and holidays. Experience and knowledge with pipeline operations, hydraulics, or similar disciplines a plus and will receive preference. Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
